What is ShowRunner?

ShowRunner Setlist is a backing track and automation extension designed for musicians, bands, and houses of worship to take their live performances to the next level. Built to interface with the REAPER Digital Audio Workstation, ShowRunner Setlist allows users to easily organize, control, and save their live performances for total customization.

Key Features

Flexible Setlists

Quickly build and save setlists by loading songs in your desired order. Rearrange songs anytime using drag-and-drop functionality, and instantly recall entire shows with saved setlists.

Customizable Song Settings

Change keys on the fly without affecting drums or percussion. Built-in Presentation Software integration makes playlist selection seamless, and you can even trigger mixing board or broadcast snapshots directly from your song file using MIDI cues (may need ShowRunner FX Host for some integrations).

Build Custom Arrangements

Tailor songs to each performance using the arrangement viewer. Duplicate, remove, or split sections to create new versions. Automatic crossfades keep transitions smooth, while charts, lyrics, and MIDI cues update automatically.

Smart Routing Recall

Adjust both MIDI and audio outputs across your setlist with ease. Save routing profiles for different venues or setups, and recall them instantly to save valuable time.

Global Performance Preferences

Fine-tune your show with flexible options: fade audio in/out on play or stop, enable preroll playback, auto-scroll with sections, or overlay lyrics in REAPER’s video window.

Connected Stage Control

Extend control to any device with the built-in web remote. Manage setlist playback, view chord charts or lyrics, and trigger pad sounds from a phone, tablet, or laptop (ShowRunner FX Host may be required for some integrations).
